FINAL EXAM
The final exam will be cumlative. It will cover all the material that you were responsible for on Test1 and on Test2. In addition it will also cover the following topics:
- Chapter 8 from the Excel Book - ESPCIALLY how to use Solver
- How Excel stores dates and times - we went over this in class the last session before pesach. You should know how to create a formula that subtracts two dates to calculate a duration. If you weren't there make sure to get someone notes who was. You can also see the link below for an overview.
- The information that we covered since Pesach:
- using RAND() to generate random numbers which can be used in simulations. Understand how we used RAND() in both the Dice throwing simulation and in the Walton1.xls spreadsheet.
The test will be open book and open notes. For the first part of the test you will NOT be allowed to use the computer. For the 2nd part of the test you WILL use the computer.
